The seven citations
These seven citations are important and help us to remain in balance on the narrow way which leads to God. They make us discover that God is Alone, Spirit and that He is us. You will notice that this explanation often returns in the Bible and in various manners.
We can ask God what we want, but we must not contravene the Act and its commandments. Consider these quotes in order to understand the meaning. We do not become slave of God when we follow his path as some may believe. Look the Father like the child who looks his father with the feeling of being protected and loved.
These citations carry out us to see God in a different way. He is the puppeteer who directs the puppet (you) with invisible sons in the sky (the spirit) by acts or words. Jesus warned his disciples with these words: "But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak" (Matthew 10:19).
Also, when some "puppets" no longer respond to God's law (His commandments), they become "autonomous". So they say another text and play another role that is no longer of Creation. This creates the problems we have now in the world.
It is also the one who dictates to the pottery (individual or nation) how to behave (vile or noble, see Jeremiah 18, 2-6 and the parable of the potter). In the field of video games, the game "The Sims" is like the parable of the modern potter. God (the player) is the one who dictates the words and gestures. Do not push too far these examples because they are only a one side of the mountain, not the mountain, but they still serve to explain the Word.
The important thing is to see that God is Spirit and it is not an external being to us living in the blue sky (as we learned all young ). He knows where we're going, because He is us.
1)"O Jehovah (or Lord), I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walked to direct his steps (Jeremiah 10:23)".
2)"A man's heart devised his way; but Jehovah directed his steps (Proverbs 16:9)".
3)"A man's goings are of Jehovah; How then can man understand his way? (Proverbs 16:24)".
4)"There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand (Proverbs 19:21)".
5)"Commit thy works unto Jehovah, and thy purposes shall be established (Proverbs 16:3)".
6)"Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it (Psalm 37:5)".
7)"And we are certain that if we make any request to him which is right in his eyes, he will give ear to us (1 John 5: 14)".
We have this assurance which he holds between its hands our life though it arrives. The life of Jesus is an example for us all, because it followed the way that God traced for him until the end (happy moments and those more difficult).
